1. Information Collected

1.1 Data you provide to us

• Name and email address (upon registration).
• LinkedIn profile (if connected via our extension).
• Payment information (managed via Stripe/PayPal).

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) — this data is necessary to provide you with the service.

1.2 Automatically collected data

• Usage data: number of comments posted, impressions generated, likes, replies, days and hours of activity, top creators, monthly totals, rankings and trends.
• Connection data: IP address, device type, browser.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) — service improvement, security, maintenance, and improvement of our recommendation algorithm to suggest relevant profiles to other users. You have the right to object to this processing (see section 8).

1.3 Public LinkedIn Data

By using LinkHub, you agree that we collect certain publicly available information from your LinkedIn profile, including your: name, headline, recent posts, recent comments, profile photo.

This data is used to improve your experience on LinkHub: profile personalization, writing style analysis, generation of relevant suggestions, and engagement optimization. It also feeds our recommendation algorithm to suggest relevant profiles to other users.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Although this data is publicly available on LinkedIn, it remains personal data under the GDPR. You have the right to object to this processing: you can ask us to stop collecting and processing your public LinkedIn data at any time (see section 8).

1.4 Data from artificial intelligence

LinkHub uses artificial intelligence models to analyze your writing style and generate personalized comment suggestions. This feature is at the core of the service provided by LinkHub.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) — AI analysis is an essential feature of the service you signed up for.

2. Profiling and Artificial Intelligence

LinkHub uses artificial intelligence to analyze your writing style and suggest comment ideas. This is solely a writing assistance tool: the AI does not make any automated decisions about you, does not restrict your account, and does not perform any scoring.

All AI-generated suggestions are subject to your approval. You are always free to use, modify, or ignore them.

3. Use of Data

The collected data is used to:

• Provide and optimize the service features.
• Personalize your experience (writing style analysis, AI suggestions).
• Feed our recommendation algorithm to suggest relevant profiles to all users.
• Generate personalized statistics and reports.
• Manage payments and billing.
• Ensure the security and maintenance of the service.

4. Data Sharing and Subprocessors

We never sell your data.

To ensure the proper functioning of the service, your data may be shared with the following subprocessors:

• Payments : Stripe, PayPal
• Artificial Intelligence : OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Cohere
• Hosting : Vercel
• Database : Neon
• Transactional Emails : Resend
• Analytics : PostHog

Your data may also be disclosed to legal authorities when required by law.

Some anonymized or public statistics may be shared on LinkedIn, unless you explicitly opt out.

5. Data Transfers Outside the European Union

Some of our subprocessors are located outside the European Union, particularly in the United States (Stripe, PayPal, OpenAI, Google, Vercel, Neon, Resend, PostHog) and Canada (Cohere).

These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, including: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for other providers.

6. Data Retention Period

• Account data (name, email, profile): retained for the duration of your use of the service. Deleted immediately upon account deletion request, via the in-app chat or by email.
• Payment data: retained in accordance with legal accounting obligations (up to 10 years).
• Usage data and analytics: retained for a maximum period of 24 months. If you accept cookies, we collect detailed statistics to improve your experience. If you decline, only anonymized statistics are collected.
• Public LinkedIn data: retained for the duration of your use of the service. Upon account deletion, you can request complete deletion of this data via the in-app chat or by email.

7. Data Security and Protection

Security measures in place:

• Encryption of communications (HTTPS, secure servers).
• Restricted access to sensitive information.
• Hosting on infrastructure compliant with security standards (Vercel, Neon).

8. User Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.
• Right to object: object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interest, including the collection of your public LinkedIn data and the recommendation algorithm.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on consent (cookies, detailed analytics).
